Hi, I'm Sue Davies and I've be making miniatures for decades. As a child in the 60's it was from matchboxes and sticky-backed-plastic. 

In the 1980's, way before video tutorials and online orders I made my first Room Box. I probably bought more items than making them at that time. My first visit to the Miniatura Exhibition in Birmingham was like entering another world.

Fast forward to 2024, with several mini projects in between, I'm embracing miniaturing big time. With the intention of making as much as I can myself, I'm employing all of my creative skills and all for the fun of it!

Whilst being as accurate as I can to a 1/12th scale, I'm more fluid about a historical time frame. By no means modern, Bramble Cottage is an old rustic cottage with a nod to some creature comforts that emerged in later years. Whereas, my elegant town house Ashton Place, which is a very different style.
